In The Beginning Was The Mac. And The Mac Was Good.

I found this wonderful ad last night while searching for something else.
Fabulous.

  1. I love that first line - "Only a fraction can use a computer."
    How things have changed.

    1. Yes, but it was true then. All those commands! Remember? I had my whole first computer class dealing with those commands. Then the Mac came. With the mouse. And life was good. :)

  2. Of course you would! Isn't that the XXXX maybe I shouldn't use the real name here, so others can be surprised! Now I know where they got the name from! Ha, ha!
Funny thing I just read, in 25 weirdest laws, that In Salt Lake City (county?) Utah it's illegal to carry a violin down the street in a paper bag? Seriously? I know it must go way back for some silly reason. Share if you know!

    1. Huh? Karen, you have lost me completely with this comment (except for the weird law thing -- that is funny.). I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about here.

    2. Karen - we have both a Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County. I'd love to know the reasoning behind that law.

  3. Sorry Lisa, but the image reminded me of the old Lisa computer! Did you ever see one? I am curious about that law though...!

    1. Lisa Computer????? Huh???
About the law: I've heard of it, too. But only as mentioned on websites or in articles about ridiculous laws. I have no idea why the law exists, if it's still on the books, or if it's ever enforced. I also don't know why anyone would carry a violin in a paper bag in the first place.
Sorry, but I'm not much help.
